Grant Union High  School knows that it is essential to students of the 21st Century that they be connected to their communities and to real and tangible possibilities for their futures.  For this reason, we have developed three unique academies on our campus to better serve and train our students for the modern world in which they live.

In our original academy, students can learn skills and knowledge related to the field of Criminal Justice with a direct and active partnership with the Sacramento Police Department.

Our Environmental Science Academy teaches students to be powerful stewards of the earth.  They learn landscape design, organic gardening and food preparation, and other skills related to the preservation and responsible use of our natural resources.

In the Sports Health Academy, students learn skills related to several different sports fields including accounting and management, nutrition, anatomy and physiology, and more.
