I Have Been Saved by Football

I Have Been Saved by Football

“Being excited for something I’ve never done, made me want to do it; that’s playing football. Random people have always told me that I am a failure, and I always laughed.’ I have always had haters in my life, I love em’ because they motivate me. I have always had passion to play football. I began playing my 8thgrade year” said Haven Bishop.

Mr. Bishop played football at Grant Union High School as number 27. “Football allows me to gain a tremendous amount of confidence and also keep me out of trouble and gives me a reason to stay in school.” Haven Bishop is a very competitive player on the field. Off the field, he has very good sportsmanship; he is always cheering on his teammates no matter what the score is. “Before I get on the field I tend to leave my problems where they happened and have the mentality of ‘we are automatically winners no matter what. “Pacer Pride” I would have never had such good sportsmanship if it was not for me being apart of the Pacers. Mr. Bishop is a junior and has plans to attend Texas University right after he graduate in 2013.
