At the May 30 Grant Union High School graduation ceremony, the Alumni Association presented 21 very fortunate and deserving seniors $101,000 in scholarships bringing the total awarded since 1984 to $700,000.  

The Alumni Association will kick off a year-long celebration of Grant's 80th Anniversary with a September 16 band concert featuring the River City Concert Band in the GUHS Auditorium at 2pm. The Grant Alumni Museum will be open from 12:30 to 1:30pm prior to the concert, and a reception will follow.

Concert tickets are $10. Students presenting a student body card will be admitted free. All proceeds will benefit the "Bring Back the Grant Marching Band" fundraising campaign.
